The Steel Construction Plant in Grybów is more than a company – it is an institution that has been shaping Polish infrastructure for three-quarters of a century. Our history began in 1947 during the reconstruction of the country from war destruction, when the embryo of the future plant was created during the reconstruction of the railway bridge over the Biała River.
Today we are one of the leading companies in the steel construction industry in Poland. We specialize in the production and assembly of bridge structures, especially railway bridges, but our expertise also includes industrial structures, halls and other steel engineering structures.

Genesis of Formation
Creation of the embryo of the future Plant during the reconstruction of the railway bridge over the Biała River along the Transwersalna Czadca-Husiatyn line. The first director is
Czesław Wrześniak, who manages the company for the next 26 years
(1947-1973).
New Organizational Structure
Incorporation into the PRK 15 structures, initially as a Construction Section. The era of systematic development and building a position in the steel construction market begins.
Establishment as an Independent Unit
Official establishment of the Steel Construction Plant as a separate, independent unit.MSc Eng. Henryk Żelazny takes over management (1973-1992) and leads the company through a period of intensive development.
Systemic Transformation
Establishment of a Limited Liability Company based on ZBM PP assets, created by ZBM PP, WKS employees and Mostostal Export. Eng. Józef Kmak takes over the management (1993-1999), beginning a new chapter in the company’s history.
Era of Modernity
MSc Eng. Maciej Olszewski takes over the management and leads the company through subsequent years of technological development, market expansion and modernization of production processes.
Investment in the Future
Receiving a tax relief from Kraków Technology Park as part of the Polish Investment Zone program.
Investment worth over PLN 25 million includes expansion of plant infrastructure, modernization of the machinery fleet and construction of a modern paint shop. This is another step in combining rich tradition with modern technologies.
